6:00 PM-7:00 PM "First Friday" Social and S'mores (Courtyard)
Stop by and visit with BRUUers for a few moments
at the corner of Church and Main street, on your way to shop/dine in Olde Town for
First Friday of the Month activities.
Chat for a few moments between 6:00-7:00pm as we mingle outside BRUU's front door - you'll find the spot by following the trail of bubbles. We have popcorn and make S'mores, using a firepit.
8:30 PM-9:30 PM Private Event (NSupport Group) - Room 105/107 (Lounge)
NA is a nonprofit Fellowship or society of men and women for whom
drugs had become a major problem. We are recovering addicts who meet
regularly to help each other stay clean. This is a program of complete
abstinence from all drugs. There is only one requirement for membership,
the desire to stop using.
In Narcotics Anonymous, we follow a program adapted from Alcoholics
Anonymous (AA). The Twelve Steps of NA, as adapted from AA, are the
basis of our recovery program. We have only broadened their perspective.
Alcoholism is too limited a term for us; our problem is not a specific
substance, it is a disease called addiction.
